README for Demo 1 %demotitle ============================= paul.bromiley@man.ac.uk %demoauthors ==================================== This is the template file explaining how to use the TINA demos directory. Each demo must go into a separate directory under /home/server5/projects/Tina/demos. The directories can have any name, but they will be listed on the website in the same order as the output of ls in that directory. Each demo directory must contain a README file. This can be either a text file or a tex file. In the latter case, the corresponding pdf file must also exist. In either case, the README file must feature the two fields at the top of this file: a desciptive title and the e-mail address of the primary contact. The remainder of the README file should contain instructions on installing and running the demo. Each demo directory must also contain a gzipped tarball with the extension .tar.gz. This should contain at least the tinaTool.c file, a .cls file, and example data sets. It should probably also contain a copy of the README file. The only restriction on the system is that no two README or tarball files can have the same name. Since the demos will appear on the webpage in the order they are outputted by ls, I suggest that we adopt a naming scheme where each directory is called e.g. 001_descriptive_name, and the README and tarball files are also prepended with the same number. paul.bromiley@man.ac.uk 24/12/2007
